Empowering the next generation of first-responders: more is caught than taught

As a young girl, Claudine followed her uncle and brother around in the aftermath of disasters, checking on their neighbours and helping out where she could. These experiences gave her the quick wits, compassion and skillset to respond speedily during disasters and lead other young people to do the same.
